Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church

Senior Ministry

For everything there is a season,
and a time for every matter under heaven.

- Ecclesiastes 3

There are many different ways people discover community at Most Precious Blood Parish.  The Senior Ministry is an active group of our parish community that not only finds fellowship with one another but also assists with various outreach activities.  Come and see what we are all about and stay a while!

Knitting and Crocheting

Every 4th Tuesday of the month from 1 to 3 P.M. we gather to knit and crochet sweaters for missions in Africa, hats and scarves for Drouillard Place, the Schizophrenia Society and Street Help.  We also make preemie hats for newborns at Met Hospital, mittens and scarves for the students in our schools, and blankets for Hiatus House, C.A.S., and Street Help.

Senior Cards

Every 3rd Thursday of the month from 1 to 3 P.M., beginner and experienced Euchre players gather for friendship, conversation and fun.

Quilting Buddies

Every Thursday from 12:30 to 3:30 P.M. there are approximately 30 members who meet to learn and share their expertise in the area of quilting, knitting and crocheting as we work together on projects for one another.  We welcome all, beginners and experienced quilters, knitters and crocheters to join us for an afternoon of enjoyment and laughter.

Yearly Excursions

Every year we plan an excursion to Colosanti’s during the month of December.
